A totally serious Beyblade tournament that will determine the fate of the whole of Victoria Pde.
Will the heroes prevail or will light forever be extinguished by the return of the JRPG villians.
RULES:
Only beys bought from a 2 dollar store
All beys must cost less than $6 AUD
if you don't have a bey one will be provided.
Tournament format will be decided by number of entrants.
Additional prize for whoever comes dressed as the most early 2000’s anime protag look

Modular People Six
This Saturday at Sabbatical Gallery, the Modular People are set for another foray into electronic music experimentation. With custom eurorack systems featuring enough knobs, switches, sliders and coloured cables to disorientate even the most levelheaded musician, and other gear, performing artists will conjure diverse sonic landscapes that excite the synapses and promote neural growth. Come along and immerse yourself in the spontaneous rhythms, modulated synth voices, and mangled samples that showcase the communal power of creativity.

This Saturday come see some amazing synth musicians perform at Sabbatical Gallery.
Performers will be performing on a modular synthesiser, these instruments have a lot of knobs, dials and wires. Each knob controls a different part of the sound or rhythm, the wires connect each part together.
This allows for improvisation and experimentation, resulting in unique sonic experiences spanning various genres, from ambient to techno.
Come listen and hang out with the Modular People this Saturday!

ANCESTRAL THREADS: Season 2
This exhibition presents work from first year students doing the course Creative Practice 1 in the Bachelor of Design, Games at RMIT University.
Students have interviewed people of their Grandparents generation and made visual representations of their stories in the form of graphic novels or comics. Drawing on the stories of real people in diverse locations, the stories cover from the 1930’s to the present day.
Selecting a theme common to their individual works, small groups have come together to discuss and understand what brings their stories together. Each group has then made an interactive digital and a physical work to present and represent the connections between the works and across the generations.
